ANTHEM BLUE CROSS: Anthem BCBS recently changed coverage with IBCLCs in CT. They no longer offer any in-person, in-network options, unless the IBCLC is also an MD. Therefore, you will have to pay the visit cost up front and submit the super bill as “doing business out of network as in network.”

For all other insurance plans:

Most insurance companies offer compensation for some lactation care. Please call your insurance company directly to verify your specific benefit.
Honeysuckle Lactation will provide a super bill after each self-pay consultation for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
